Ok, so you’re kicking butt in PvP, or gettign your butt kicked, one or the other. Anyway, the burning questions is, “When is season 8 over?”. I have scoured the internet and WoW forums for weeks now trying to find the answer to this mysterious question. Here is what I’ve learned / figured out so far.

On average a PvP season lasts about 18 to 20 weeks. Season 3 was the exception at 29 weeks and caused a big stir on the PvP community. Season 8 has been going on for 27 weeks making it the the 2nd longest PvP season so far as of the time of this writing. I wouldn’t think that season 8 can last too much longer. All I know is that if you are hording arena points you should probably begin using them before they ninja switch us to season 9 and you lose them all!

So, although this article probably didn’t give you the EXACT answer you wanted to hear, rest assured that I scoured the internet to try to find the season 8 end date and it IS NOT OUT THERE YET! Ever try to duel someone on the streets in Dalaran and you get the message that says, “You can not do that here”? Well, there is a little trick where you CAN duel someone in the streets of Dalaran. All you have to do is start the duel with someone at a certain location in the Dalaran sewers and then you and the person you want to duel mount up and run to the surface above where the duel flag went down.
